Saturday, September 4th, Super Sundae Saturday will be POSTPONED until Saturday, September 11th, at RIVERSIDE PARK, due to the 47th Annual Fireman's Parade.

Current Happenings

Art Program

     A new Wintergreen Art session will begin on September 21st and run to October 29th.  Registration will begin September 7th for residents and September 13th for non residents.  Grades 1-3 on Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00-5:00 and grades 4-6 on Wednesdays & Fridays 3:00-5:00.  The cost is $60.  Also Mini Monet's for ages 2-5 will be held on Friday mornings from 10:00-11:00. The cost for Mini Monet's is $25.  For any questions, call 764-2545.

Recurring events

Birthday Parties at the Pool and Recreation Center

            The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department is now hosting birthday parties for ages 4 and up at the Recreation Center in addition to hosting parties at the Indoor Pool.  The Recreation Center is available Friday and Saturday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm, with one hour of organized gym games included in the rental.  Activities vary with age groups.  For more information on rentals for the Recreation Center please call 764-2545 or the Indoor Pool at 764-2564.

ZUMBA

The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department is offering ZUMBA classes each Tuesday and Thursday from 5:45-6:45 pm. The drop in fee is $6 for those who haven’t signed up for a member deal. Punch cards are now used for the member deal. A card for 10 sessions may be purchased for $40, and classes will be held through the summer months and for the immediate future.  Classes the first Tuesday of the month will be free for all people, including those on a member deal.
