YOUTH PROGRAMS
April Vacation Activities—Daily activities will be posted to the schools.
Junior Olympics—Nationally recognized program where players compete in four events. For ages 8 to 13 as of December 31st. Events will take place during vacation week.
Archery— After school program for grades 3-8. Starts May 3 with registration for residents beginning April 5th and non residents April 12th.
Art Program-Session III-Registration begins March 31st for residents, April 7th for non residents. Program will be Puppet Theater and Mystery Box, starting April 27th.
Mother/Son Dance—Grades K-6 on the Friday, May 7th.
Pitch, Hit, Run— Nationally recognized program where players throw at a target, hit a ball off a tee, and run around the bases. For ages 7-14 as of July 17th. Held Friday, May 14th @ 3:00 pm.
Summer Registration—Registration will begin May 19 for Presque Isle residents and May 24 for non residents. Summer brochures will be handed out at the elementary schools and will be made available at the middle school. Brochures will also be available online.
Soccer Registration—Registration will begin July 7 for all participants. The program will start the week of August 17.
Special Events
Birthday Parties— The center is available for rent for birthday parties for ages 4 and up on Fridays and Saturdays.
ADULT PROGRAMS
Adult Softball Leagues – Informational meetings will be Wednesday, April 14th.
Adult Evening Activities – Men’s basketball is an informal program every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 pm. The cost is $1 per session and will go through the week of April 22nd.
Flag Football – Informational meeting will be held Wednesday, May 26th.
INDOOR POOL
The Indoor Pool offers a variety of programs for all ages, including lessons, water exercise classes, and kayaking classes. Please contact the Indoor Pool with questions regarding classes at 764-2564.
The surrounding MSAD #1 communities now pay the non resident fees for their residents to take part in the Presque Isle Recreation programming.
MSAD #1 will provide after school busing to programs during the school year. Contact your child’s school for more information.
