 Current Happenings

            The Presque Isle Rec. and Parks Dept. is once again offering its Little All-Stars Sports Class for boys and girls ages 4 or 5.  Participants will be introduced to five different sports, including basketball, soccer, floor hockey, football and t-ball.  Through games and instruction, the focus will be on fun and the basic fundamentals of each sport.  Classes are held at the Presque Isle Recreation Center each Friday from 10:30 to 11:20 am.  The program runs from October 3 to October 31.  The fee for the program is $15.

Registration for the Presque Isle Rec. and Parks Dept.’s grades 3^rd & 4^th basketball program begins September 29, with schedules coming out October 21^st.  The registration fee is $15 and a $5 late fee will be added to all registrations taken after October 20^th.  The program offers leagues for both boys and girls.  Practices and games are held weekdays after school at the community center and begin the last week in October.

The Presque Isle Rec. and Parks Dept. will hold a week-long informal flag football program October 20^th to 24^th.  This drop-in program is open to boys and girls in grades 6-8 and will be held from 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM at Riverside Park.  There is no fee or registration required.
